What difficulties can CBT therapy help with?
CBT can help identify thought and behavioural patterns, and how these may be impacting on your feelings and day to day life.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is recommended by NICE (National Institute for Health and Care) for the treatment of a variety of mental health conditions such as anxiety (including social anxiety), depression, OCD, phobias and PTSD. There is also research into the use of CBT for supporting management of ADHD. However you do not need to have a formal diagnosis of any condition to benefit from CBT.
