About Dymphna Therapy

I offer compassionate and non judgemental online Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) therapy and counselling. I realise that it can be daunting to take the first step to access therapy, and to choose a therapist. To help with this, I offer a free 10 minute phone consultation which can help you decide this.

Although CBT is my main approach, I incorporate techniques from other types of therapy, such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to meet your needs and promote positive change. Our initial sessions focus on setting and achieving therapy goals, ensuring a supportive and effective therapeutic experience.

 

Online Therapy Approach

Having previously worked in face to face environments, I realise that anxiety and depression can make it difficult to leave home and attend therapy. Online therapy allows you to attend from the comfort of your own home, and allows for easier access around other commitments such as childcare or transport difficulties. 

 

Cost and Booking Information

Online therapy sessions at Dymphna Therapy are priced at £49 per session. I realise that finances are often a barrier to accessing therapy and due to this I keep a limited number of low-cost spaces available on a sliding scale from £15 per session for anyone who is struggling to afford therapy at this point. These spaces are based on trust and no proof of income will be asked for.
